Cash Truck Begins Slot Overview
Cash Truck Begins is the fifth entry in Quickspin's vehicular heist series, and it does something none of the others did. Instead of futuristic trucks and highways, you get a medieval wagon loaded with gold, dragged through a rocky wasteland by barbarian warriors. Five reels, up to 7 rows tall, and a maximum of 16,807 ways to win. High volatility, 96.19% RTP at the top config, and a 20,000x cap.
If I'm honest with chat, the base game starts with the top 3 rows locked on each reel, so you begin at a 5x4 grid. Every tumble win unlocks three random positions, gradually expanding the play area. Once everything is open, a 3x3 Big Wild drops into the centre. There is also a Second Chance mechanic that clears the grid when exactly 2 scatters land, giving you another shot at triggering the bonus.
Cash Truck Begins Symbols and Paytable
Low pays are wooden shields with card suits: clubs, hearts, diamonds, and spades. All four pay 0.25x for a 5-of-a-kind line. Medium symbols include an axe, hammer, swords, plus three named warriors: Garrik, Thulgrim, and Rogar the Red. These range from 0.5x to 2x for five on a way. Valeria sits alone at the top, paying 5x the bet for a full combination.
Wilds substitute for everything except the Bonus Scatter. Payouts across the board are quite low compared to many high-volatility slots I stream, which tells you straight away that the real money lives in the bonus round, not the base game. Expect plenty of dead spins and small tumble chains between triggers.

Cash Truck Begins Bonus Game and Features
Landing 3 or more Bonus Scatters triggers the Bonus Game, a Hold and Win round that starts with 3 spins. Each additional scatter beyond 3 adds one extra Expander symbol. Every time a new symbol lands, the counter resets to 3. Symbols stay sticky until the round ends, and the total of all values is paid out.
Special symbols make or break the round. Grabber collects all other symbol values into itself. Zapper doubles everything connected to it orthogonally. Booster adds its value to every other symbol. Each of these has a Brutal version that repeats its effect on every subsequent spin. Doubler doubles itself each time the counter resets. Upgrader promotes Cash symbols to Grabbers or Boosters, and promotes standard modifiers to their Brutal forms.
Two Buy Feature options exist. A cheaper buy at 40x (some sources list 75x, so check your operator) guarantees 3+ scatters. A premium buy at 185x (or 375x depending on config) guarantees 5+ scatters and extra Expanders. I'd probably lean toward the cheaper buy on stream since the bonus hits hardest when Brutal symbols chain together, and that can happen from a 3-scatter trigger just as easily.

Cash Truck Begins RTP, Volatility, and Max Win
96.19% RTP is the top config, but Quickspin ships this with four versions: 96%, 94%, 92%, and 84%. Always check which one your operator runs. Volatility is high across the board, and the base game hit frequency sits at around 21.98%, so roughly 1 in 5 spins connects. Max win is 20,000x, achievable at a rate of about 1 in 37 million spins.
Now, 20,000x is a strong number on paper. But if you have played Cash Truck 3 Turbo or followed the series, you will know it is actually the lowest cap in the franchise. That might not bother most players, but for those chasing the absolute ceiling on stream, it is worth knowing.
