Snakebite Slot Overview
Snakebite from Play'n GO is a 5x3 video slot with 10 paylines, built around darts star Peter Wright and a straightforward bonus-led format. I found the positioning quite specific, it targets darts fans first, but the medium volatility setup and 96.2% RTP give it broader appeal than the theme alone suggests.
What stands out here is the design choice to stage the reels like a darts event, with fluro lighting, raised hands in the crowd and Wright appearing across several premium symbols. The presentation has personality, though I do not think the visual package is especially rich. Compared to some more elaborate modern releases, the base game feels deliberately simple.
Snakebite Symbols and Paytable
Seven regular pay symbols sit behind the special symbols. Low pays are 10 to A with a neo-Gothic look, while the top-paying symbols are three portraits of Peter Wright in different colours. Five matching premiums pay 20x to 24x the bet, while five low symbols return 1.6x to 3x.
Trophy wilds appear on all reels and substitute for regular symbols. They also pay from any position, giving 2x for three, 10x for four and 200x for five. Winning combinations land on adjacent reels from the left across 10 paylines. In the base game, that keeps the maths easy to follow, though it also limits surprise value.

Snakebite Slot Features
2 or more Dartboard symbols on reels 1 to 4 award Instant Prizes if the Snakebite symbol does not land on reel 5. Each Dartboard then pays 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x the total bet. It is an old-school direct prize idea, and it gives the base game a little life even when line wins stay modest.
Land 2 or more Dartboards together with the Snakebite symbol and the game moves into Snake Spins on an expanded 5x5 reel set. You start with 3 spins, and the triggering Dartboards carry over as Instant Prize symbols. During the feature, only Instant Prizes, Snake Snap, Peter Pays and Golden Dart symbols can land.
Any hit from those bonus symbols resets the counter back to 3 spins. Instant Prizes, Snake Snap and Peter Pays lock in place, and the round ends when the grid fills or spins run out. Instant Prizes carry 1x, 2x, 5x or 10x values. Snake Snap duplicates all Instant Prizes and collects them. Peter Pays adds 1x, 2x, 5x or 10x to the Instant Prizes. Golden Darts build a multiplier up to 10x, applied at the end of the feature.
Bonus Buy Options
If 2 or more Dartboard symbols land on reels 1 to 4 without the Snakebite symbol on reel 5, each Dartboard awards 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x the total bet.
Triggered by 2 or more Dartboards together with the Snakebite symbol. It moves play to a 5x5 grid with 3 spins, locked symbols and resets back to 3 when a qualifying symbol lands.
During Snake Spins, Golden Dart symbols build a win multiplier up to 10x, applied to the total feature win when the round ends.
During Snake Spins, this symbol adds 1x, 2x, 5x or 10x the bet to the Instant Prizes on the grid.
During Snake Spins, this symbol duplicates all Instant Prizes in view and collects their values.

Snakebite Slot Conclusion
6,000x the bet is the top win, and that puts Snakebite in a respectable mid-range bracket for a branded slot with medium volatility. I can see the logic behind the design. The mechanics are easy to read, the hold and win bonus has enough movement through resets and add-on symbols, and the theme gives the game an identity many sports slots never quite find.
Still, I am not entirely sold on the gameplay depth. The base game can drag a bit, and the bonus round, while solid, does not do much that players have not seen before. The slot suits darts fans, players who prefer simpler 10-line formats, and anyone who likes hold and win features without extreme volatility. If originality is the main priority, this one may feel a little too reliant on its licence.
