Legend of the Ice Dragon: Slot Overview
Legend of the Ice Dragon from Play'n GO is a 7x7 cluster pays slot built around sticky Ice Frames, cascading wins and an Ice Crystal Charger that unlocks stronger effects as you collect symbols. I get the setup straight away, it is a feature-driven grid game with high volatility, 96.29% RTP by default, bets from 0.20 to 100, and a 6,000x max win. For serious players, that ceiling is only decent, not exceptional.
Legend of the Ice Dragon Slot Information
Wins land by connecting 5 or more matching symbols horizontally or vertically. Low pays are clubs, spades, hearts and diamonds, while the premiums are the green crystal, blue flame, purple tiara and red eye. The biggest clusters start at 30+ symbols, with low symbols paying 15x to 25x and premium symbols paying 75x to 500x.
Wilds are a key part of the paytable logic, even if they are more about setup than direct value. Reviews mention a blue W wild, and one source also mentions a treasure chest wild. What matters more is what a wild does, it creates sticky Ice Frames and can upgrade them when another wild lands on the same framed spot.

Legend of the Ice Dragon Slot Features
Cascades drive the whole engine. Any winning cluster disappears, new symbols drop in, and the sequence continues until the grid stops producing new wins. That part is standard enough, but the sticky Ice Frames are where the slot starts asking for patience. A wild creates an Ice Frame, and another wild landing there raises the multiplier by +1, up to x8. Those multipliers stay for the whole round, but they are inactive until Dragon Blast hits.
Freezing features can trigger on non-winning spins, which is useful because the base game can drag a bit. Hailstorm targets three symbols of one type and affects adjacent positions, with up to nine wilds possible. Avalanche removes all of two symbol types and can leave up to seven wilds. Blizzard changes up to five symbols into wilds or destroys them.
Winning symbols also charge the Ice Crystal meter. At 20 charges, Tail Lash turns all high pays into one premium type. At 40, Ice Scorch adds 3 to 6 wilds. At 60, Destruction removes all low pays. At 80, Dragon Blast turns all symbols inside Ice Frames into wilds and finally activates the stored multipliers. Overcharge adds two extra Ice Frames for every 10 charges above 80. That is where the big hits live.
Bonus Buy Options
Winning clusters are removed and new symbols drop into empty positions until no new cluster forms.
Wilds create sticky Ice Frames, and a wild landing in an existing frame adds +1 multiplier up to x8 for the current round.
On non-winning spins, one of three random features can trigger: Hailstorm, Avalanche or Blizzard.
Winning symbols fill the Ice Crystal Charger and unlock Tail Lash at 20, Ice Scorch at 40, Destruction at 60 and Dragon Blast at 80 charges.
For every 10 charges above 80, 2 additional Ice Frames are added to the grid.

Legend of the Ice Dragon Slot Conclusion
From a high-roller angle, I see exactly what this slot is trying to do. It wants long cascade sequences, a packed meter, then one proper Dragon Blast where framed multipliers connect on premium clusters. That can happen, and when it does, the spin has real weight. Still, the ceiling is too low for this variance. High-volatility slots asking for a serious bankroll usually need more than 6,000x to justify the heat.
I would not treat this as a core bonus-hunting target, partly because no bonus buy is mentioned and partly because the top-end EV looks capped. With a proper bankroll, it is playable if you like feature progression and can handle plenty of setup spins. For serious players, it is a selective grind, not an all-in slot.
