EggOMatic Review
Eggomatic is a 5x3 slot from NetEnt, built around a conveyor belt that shuffles feature eggs across the top of the reels. That odd little setup is the whole hook here. A rooster wild catches eggs and cracks them open for prizes or modifiers, which makes the game feel a bit more alive than a standard 20-line slot. I think it is proper quirky, and still fun if you fancy something different for a relaxed session.
2013 shows in the visuals a bit, fair enough, but the idea still holds up. The RTP most sources give is 96.5%, volatility is medium, and the pace is decent once the eggs start moving. I would not call it a massive-win machine by modern standards, but for casual spins and a weird theme, it has charm.
Egg-o-matic Symbols and Payouts
Five reels and three rows give you 20 paylines, paying left to right. The regular symbols are robot chicks and chicken workers, with the red chicken as the top premium. From the figures mentioned in the reviews, three brown chickens pay 10x, while five red chickens can hit 1000x your stake, which is the best line win in the base paytable.
Rooster wilds are the key symbol, mate. They do the usual substitute job, but more importantly they catch the eggs moving above the reels. Without a rooster in the right spot, the special eggs just roll by and drop off the belt, so even when the feature setup appears, you still need that extra bit of luck.

Egg-o-Matic Features
4 special eggs do the heavy lifting here, Spreading Wild Egg, Free-Spins Egg, Coin Win Egg, and Surprise Egg. You can have up to five eggs on the conveyor belt at once. As they move towards reel one, the rooster wild needs to catch them to trigger the effect. That mechanic is the reason the slot still feels original, even now.
Free-Spins Egg is the best one by a mile. It can award up to 50 free spins, and during the feature the machine drops an egg on every spin, which gives the round a much busier feel than the base game. You can also land more spins, so it has proper re-trigger potential.
Coin Win Egg pays an instant prize between 50 and 2,500 coins, while the Spreading Wild Egg turns adjacent and diagonal symbols into wilds. Surprise Egg just morphs into one of the others. I like the variety, but the base game can drag a bit when eggs appear and no rooster turns up to crack them.
Bonus Buy Options

Graphic & Sound
Quirky is the word for this one. You are in a robotic egg factory with chicken workers, a battered dispenser machine and a wild rooster waiting to smash eggs open. It is bonkers, basically, but in a decent way. I am not entirely sold on the whole theme, because it is a bit grimy and strange, though that is also what makes it memorable.
Sound is fairly light, mostly little effects around the chickens and your wins, plus the rooster call when something good might happen. It does not go over the top, which I do not mind for longer sessions. Visually, it is dated in places, but the animation around the features still keeps things moving.
