Cash Truck Slot Overview

Cash Truck is a post-apocalyptic slot from Quickspin that dropped in January 2022. You get a 5-reel grid that starts at 4 rows high but can expand up to 7, giving you anywhere from 1,024 to 16,807 ways to win. The whole thing is set on the back of a money truck speeding through a desert wasteland, and honestly, the Mad Max vibes proper drew me in straight away.

RTP sits at 96.00% by default, volatility is high, and you can stake from 20p up to 100 quid per spin. Max win is a chunky 25,000x your bet. I should mention though, some casinos run this at lower RTPs of 94% or 90%, so always check before you start spinning. Works fine on mobile as well, no issues there.

Symbols and Paytable

Low pays are card suits styled as bottle caps, which fits the scrappy wasteland theme nicely. Five of any suit pays 0.6x your bet. Mid-range symbols are homemade weapons like a spiked bat, a spinning blade and a jerrycan, paying between 0.8x and 1x for five. Four roughneck character symbols make up the premiums, with the top one worth 5x for a full line of five.

Wilds substitute for everything except the scatter and pay the same as that top character. Not bad at all. Skull symbols are your scatters, and landing three of them is what you need for the bonus round.

Bonus Features

Tumbling Reels kick in after every win; symbols from the winning combo vanish and new ones drop down. Each tumble also unlocks 3 blocked positions on the grid, expanding your play area. Pretty decent mechanic for building consecutive wins. There is also a Second Chance feature; if you land 2 scatters but miss the third, the game clears the board and gives you another shot at triggering the bonus.

The main event is the Truck Raider Bonus Game, a Hold and Win style round. You start with 3 Cash Stack symbols placed randomly and 3 respins. Every new symbol that lands resets your spins to 3 and sticks in place, displaying a bet multiplier. When spins run out, all values get totalled. Six special symbols can appear during this round: Expander unlocks grid positions, Booster and Super Booster add value to other symbols, Grabber and Super Grabber collect values from everything else, and the Doubler doubles itself each time the spin counter resets.

That Doubler is the star here. Starts small but grows exponentially, and when it lands early with plenty of grid space left, things can get properly explosive. You can also buy your way in: 90x your bet gets you the standard bonus, while 350x gets the bonus with a guaranteed Doubler on the second spin. RTP bumps up a touch with either buy option.

Volatility, RTP and Max Win

High volatility means long dry stretches are part of the deal. I found the base game can drag a bit between features, and consecutive tumble chains were rare during my sessions. Most of the real action happens inside the Truck Raider Bonus Game. The 25,000x cap triggers a Target Eliminated sequence when you hit it, which is a nice touch.

Standard RTP is 96.00%, rising to 96.56% with the 90x bonus buy or 96.83% with the 350x buy. Fair enough for a high-volatility slot, but nothing spectacular. Keep an eye on which RTP version your casino is running; the 90% and 94% variants exist out there and that is a significant difference.

💬 What Players Say
Players generally enjoy the Truck Raider Bonus and the Doubler symbol's explosive potential, though many note the base game can feel slow between features and draw comparisons to Money Train 2. Based on 4 reviews.
Ryan Cole’s Verdict

Final Verdict

Cash Truck grabbed me with its presentation. The first-person chase perspective, Monument Valley-style desert backdrop and apocalyptic soundtrack all come together really well. Quickspin clearly put effort into making this feel like more than just another respin slot. The Truck Raider Bonus Game is genuinely exciting when things click, especially when a Doubler starts compounding.

I will say it borrows heavily from the Money Train formula, and not everyone will love the base game grind between bonuses. But for a relaxed session where you fancy chasing something big, it does the job. Decent theme, proper bonus potential, and two buy-in options if you cannot be bothered waiting. Not a bad way to spend an evening.

Cash Truck FAQ
How does the Doubler symbol work in the Truck Raider Bonus?
The Doubler doubles its own value every time a new Cash Stack or special symbol lands and resets the spin counter back to 3. It starts small but grows exponentially, so landing it early in the round with lots of grid space left is ideal for big payouts.
What are the two bonus buy options and how much do they cost?
You can buy the standard Truck Raider Bonus for 90x your bet, which triggers with at least 3 scatters. The premium option costs 350x your bet and guarantees a Doubler symbol lands on the second spin. RTP increases slightly with both options.
How does the expanding grid work during the base game?
You start with 4 rows unlocked and 3 rows locked on each reel. Every time a tumble happens after a win, 3 random locked positions get unlocked and filled with new symbols. The grid can expand up to 7 rows per reel, maxing out at 16,807 ways to win.
What triggers the Second Chance feature?
If you land exactly 2 scatter symbols after all tumbles finish, the Second Chance feature activates. It clears every symbol except those 2 scatters and drops fresh symbols onto the reels, giving you another chance to land a third scatter and trigger the bonus.
What is the difference between Booster and Grabber symbols in the bonus?
Booster adds its value to all other unlocked symbols on the grid, spreading value outward. Grabber does the opposite; it collects the value from every other unlocked symbol and adds it all to itself. Both have Super versions that repeat their effect on every subsequent spin.
