Cash Truck 2: Slot Overview
Cash Truck 2 is the full sequel to Quickspin's post-apocalyptic hit, running on a 6-reel, 7-row grid where most positions start locked. You begin with 4,096 ways to win, but Tumble wins unlock extra rows and push that up to 117,649 ways. The setting has shifted from open desert to a dystopian city skyline under a hazy yellow glow; very Blade Runner. If I'm honest with chat, the vibe is heavy, the metal soundtrack is heavy, and the gameplay follows suit.
Bets range from 0.10 to 100, the default RTP sits at 96.10%, and volatility is rated 5 out of 5 by the studio. Max win has jumped from 25,000x in the original to 35,000x here. For UK players specifically, the Bonus Buy is locked out, so you are grinding organically for the Truck Raider Bonus. Keep that in mind before loading this up.
Symbols and Paytable
Low pays are card suits: clubs, spades, diamonds, and hearts, each returning 0.4x for a six-of-a-kind win. Medium symbols include a blue pistol, a pink gun, and a med kit, paying between 0.6x and 0.9x for six. Four character symbols fill the higher end; the top character pays 3x for a full line. None of these numbers sound huge, but the expanding grid and tumble chain mean multiple wins stack within a single spin cycle.
Wilds substitute for all regular pay symbols. Two modifier symbols now appear in the base game as well, which is new for this sequel. The Compressor strips the board of everything except wilds and scatters, triggering a tumble and unlocking adjacent locked positions. The Cloner picks 4 to 8 symbols and converts them all into one matching symbol from reel 1. Both can set up decent base game hits, though they land rarely enough that you should not rely on them.
Symbol Payouts
Truck Raider Bonus and Super Bonus
Land 3 unlocked bonus scatters and you trigger the Truck Raider Bonus, which is essentially a Hold and Win round on steroids. You start with 3 respins; every new symbol that lands resets the counter back to 3. Cash symbols lock in place, and 8 special modifier symbols can appear. Expander unlocks 3 locked positions. Booster adds its value to every symbol on the board once. Super Booster does the same but repeats on every spin after landing. Grabber absorbs all values into itself. Super Grabber does that persistently too. Doubler doubles its value each time the spin counter resets. Cloner copies the highest value to empty spots. Compressor hoovers up all cash values and removes those symbols to make space.
Each extra scatter beyond 3 that triggers the round adds a guaranteed Expander, which helps open the grid faster. If one of the triggering scatters is a super bonus symbol (red skull), you get the Super Bonus Game instead. Same rules, but the super scatter transforms into a Doubler, Super Booster, or Super Grabber. That persistent modifier running from the very first spin can absolutely carry a round.
I will say this though: the bonus can feel flat if you do not land the right modifiers early. A round with nothing but small cash values and no Expanders or Boosters just fizzles out after 3 spins. When it connects, it connects hard, but not every round will be a banger. That contrast is part of the high-volatility deal.

RTP, Volatility, and Max Win
Default RTP is 96.10%, which is fair for a 2023 release. Operators can also set it to 94.19%, 92.07%, or 87.15%, so always check what your casino runs. Volatility is high; Quickspin rates it 5/5. The 35,000x max win has a hit rate of roughly 1 in 84 million spins, so do not plan your evening around it. More realistic milestones: a 40x Super Win lands about 1 in 237 spins, a 70x Mega Win around 1 in 467, and a 100x Epic Win roughly 1 in 822. Those odds are more favourable than the first Cash Truck.
