Beastwood Slot Overview

Beastwood is a fantasy-themed slot from Quickspin where you join a pirate-turned-monster-hunter called Mr Beastwood on a trek through a dark forest. The grid starts at 3 reels and 4 rows, but here is the twist: every winning combo adds another reel to the right. Quickspin call it Endless Reels, and if you have played any Infinity Reels slot before, you will know the general idea. Stakes run from 20p up to 100 quid a spin, RTP sits at 96.11% by default, and the max win can hit 29,541x your bet. Proper big number, that.

I quite liked the cartoon look of it. Mr Beastwood is a decent character, and the switch from his trophy room in the base game to the foggy forest during free spins is a nice touch. Not every slot bothers with that kind of detail.

Symbols and Paytable

Ten regular pay symbols fill the reels here. Low pays are your usual 10 through to A card ranks, worth between 0.15x and 0.25x your stake. Four coloured monster symbols sit in the middle, and Mr Beastwood himself is the top payer at 2.5x. You need at least three matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left to form a win.

Wild is a golden W with horns. It subs for everything except the Bonus scatter, but it only lands on reel 4 onwards, never on the first three reels. Multiple wilds on a single reel multiply all your Symbol Win Multipliers, which can add up fast. The scatter is a red seal stamped BONUS, and you need four of them to trigger free spins.

Endless Reels and Multipliers

Right, so the Endless Reels mechanic is the main event. Land a win on the starting 3 reels and a fourth reel appears on the right. Keep extending that win and more reels keep appearing, theoretically forever. Once no new matching symbols show up, the round ends and the grid resets.

Each winning combo starts with a Symbol Win Multiplier of x1. Land more than one matching symbol on the same reel and that multiplier gets bumped. Two of the same symbol on a reel doubles it, three triples it. On top of that, x2 Reel Multipliers sit above every third reel starting from reel 5 in the base game. When your win reaches one of those reels, your whole Symbol Win Multiplier gets doubled again.

During Free Spins, x2 Reel Multipliers kick in from reel 4 onwards, every single reel. That is where the big wins hide. You get 10 free spins for landing 4 scatters, with +3 for each extra scatter. Any scatter landing during free spins adds +1 spin. There is also a Bonus Buy at 120x your bet if you cannot be bothered waiting, and it has a slightly higher RTP of 96.38%.

Volatility and RTP

High volatility, rated 5 out of 5 by Quickspin. Your balance can swing a lot in either direction during a session. The default RTP is 96.11%, but watch out because operators can set it to 94.19% or even 87.15%. Always check the game rules before you play. About 67% of returns come from the base game, with roughly 29% allocated to free spins.

Max win is 29,541.2x your bet, which was recorded during 100 million simulated spins. Realistic? Maybe not on a Tuesday evening, but the potential is there. I will say the base game can drag a bit between bonus triggers, which is typical for high-volatility slots like this. Not everyone will enjoy that kind of wait.

💬 What Players Say
Mixed opinions overall. Some players enjoy the immersive graphics and expanding reels, while others find the base game a bit basic and note the lack of a progressive jackpot. Based on 5 reviews.

Final Verdict

Quickspin have done a solid job with Beastwood, even if the Endless Reels idea is not exactly brand new. The graphics are sharp, the animations are smooth, and the multiplier stacking can produce some genuinely exciting moments. When multiple premium symbols and Reel Multipliers line up, it feels properly rewarding.

My main gripe is that the base game can feel a bit samey after a while. Free spins are where the real action is, and getting there naturally takes patience. The 120x bonus buy is decent value if your jurisdiction allows it. Overall, a fun slot for a relaxed session if you do not mind the swings. Give it a go, mate.

Beastwood FAQ
How does the Endless Reels mechanic work in Beastwood?
Every winning combination adds a new reel to the right side of the grid. Reels keep being added as long as matching symbols continue to extend the win. Once no new matching symbol appears, the grid resets to 3 reels for the next spin.
What triggers the Free Spins in Beastwood and how many do you get?
You need 4 or more Bonus scatter symbols in a single spin to trigger 10 free spins. Each extra scatter beyond 4 adds 3 more spins. During the round, every scatter that lands adds +1 free spin.
How do Reel Multipliers differ between the base game and free spins?
In the base game, x2 Reel Multipliers appear on reel 5 and every third reel after that. In free spins, x2 Reel Multipliers appear on every reel from reel 4 onwards, making big payouts much more likely.
How much does the Bonus Buy cost and is the RTP different?
The Bonus Buy costs 120x your bet and guarantees entry into free spins. Its RTP is slightly higher at 96.38% compared to the default 96.11%. Availability depends on your jurisdiction.
Can Beastwood be found with different RTP settings?
Yes. The default RTP is 96.11%, but operators can also set it to 94.19% or 87.15%. The lower settings reduce max win potential as well, so always check the game rules before playing.
