Motley Crue Slot Overview
Motley Crue is a branded rock slot from Play'n GO, built around the legendary LA metal band founded in 1981. I loaded this up on stream and immediately got hit with Girls, Girls, Girls blasting from the speakers. It runs on a 5x4 grid with 20 fixed paylines, bets from 0.20 to 100, and a max win of 5,000x. Medium volatility, 96.20% default RTP.
If I'm honest with chat, the vibe is strong. Neon bar backdrop, motorcycles, all four band members on the reels. Play'n GO has done plenty of music slots before, like KISS Reels of Rock and Twisted Sister, so they know how to handle a licensed theme. Five named features keep things moving. Not the highest win cap I have ever seen on a branded game, but the session tempo is solid.
Symbols and Paytable
Low-pay symbols are J, Q, K and A. Landing five of J or Q pays 2.5x; five of K or A pays 3x. Higher-paying symbols are band members with coloured backgrounds. The Electric Guitarist and Singer pay 15x for five, the Drummer pays 20x, and the Bass Guitarist pays 25x. Wild also pays 25x for a five-of-a-kind line.
Beyond standard pays, there is a neon lip multiplier symbol and a Girl symbol that appears on reels 2, 3 and 4. Girls carry instant multipliers of 1x, 2x or 5x. The scatter is the Motley Crue pentagram logotype, landing only on reels 1, 3 and 5. Pays here are not massive in isolation, but the features layer on top of each other frequently enough to build decent totals.

Bonus Features
Every feature is named after a real Motley Crue track, which I genuinely like for the stream. Wild Side re-spins trigger after any non-winning spin. A barrier starts on reel 5 and shifts left, turning entire reels into sticky wilds until you finally land a win. You can retrigger this up to four times, so in theory reels 2 through 5 can all become wild. Live Wire randomly drops up to 5 wilds onto the grid, one per reel. It cannot fire alongside Wild Side.
Girls Girls Girls activates when at least one Girl symbol lands on each of the three middle reels. You collect the total multiplier value shown on those symbols. During Free Spins, you need three scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5. The pentagram then determines how many spins you get, anywhere from 6 to 10. Both Live Wire and Girls Girls Girls run on every free spin automatically, unless Wild Side kicks in.
Kickstart My Heart is the big one. It only appears during Wild Side inside free spins. Depending on the barrier position, it applies a 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x multiplier to the resulting win. That 10x multiplier on a grid mostly filled with wilds is where the 5,000x cap lives. The pentagram can also randomly award 10 extra free spins mid-bonus. If I'm being critical, though, needing several layers of random triggers to reach peak potential can make the bonus feel inconsistent.
Bonus Buy Options
Triggers after any non-winning spin. A barrier on reel 5 moves left, turning reels into sticky wilds until a win is formed. Can retrigger up to 4 times.
Randomly adds up to 5 wild symbols onto the reels, one per reel. Cannot activate at the same time as Wild Side.
Girl symbols land on reels 2, 3 and 4 with multipliers of 1x, 2x or 5x. Landing at least 1 girl on 3 reels awards the total multiplier value.
3 scatter symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 award 6 to 10 free spins based on the pentagram placement. Live Wire and Girls Girls Girls are active on every spin. Wild Side triggers on non-winning spins.
Activates randomly during Wild Side within free spins. Applies a multiplier of 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x depending on the barrier position.
RTP and Volatility
Default RTP sits at 96.20%, which is slightly above the 96% industry average. Be aware that Play'n GO ships this slot with five RTP settings: 96.20%, 94.20%, 91.20%, 87.20% and 84.20%. Always check what your operator uses before committing real money. Medium volatility means wins land fairly often, but the base game payouts are on the smaller side. I'd expect steady sessions without huge dead-spin stretches.
