King of Sweets Slot Overview
King of Sweets is a candy-themed grid slot from Play'n GO built on a 5x5 Cluster Pays layout. Four or more matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically form a win, after which Cascading Wins remove the cluster and drop fresh symbols from above. The math model runs at medium volatility with a default RTP of 96.21%, a 26.88% hit frequency, and a 5,000x max win. Bets range from 0.10 to 100.
From a math perspective, the numbers tell you this is a near-identical clone of Rich Wilde and the Tome of Dead. Same volatility band, same ceiling, same charge-based bonus trigger. The skin changed from Egyptian horror to a pastel candy kingdom, but every stat I can verify lines up with the older release. That is not necessarily a negative, though the novelty factor drops sharply once you recognise the engine underneath.

Symbols and Paytable
Eight regular symbols split into two tiers populate the grid. Low pays are jelly candies in green, blue, purple, and red, paying 3x to 6x the stake for clusters of 10 or more. High pays follow the same colour hierarchy as striped hard candies, returning 25x to 100x for 10+ clusters. Minimum 4-of-a-kind clusters pay between 0.1x and 2x, so small hits barely register.
Three wild types do the heavy lifting. Sweet King Wilds substitute for everything and feed the Sweet-o-Meter. Multiplier Wild carries x2, x3, x4, or x5 in base play, upgraded to x2, x3, x5, or x10 during the bonus. Only the highest multiplier applies per cluster. The Flavour Unicorn Wild is a 2x2 colossal piece that walks three times across the grid; critically, its multiplier stacks multiplicatively with any Multiplier Wild in the same cluster. That interaction is where the real payout potential sits.

Bonus Features and Sweet-o-Meter
Everything revolves around the Sweet-o-Meter. Every winning symbol charges the gauge, and four thresholds unlock progressively stronger modifiers. Jelly Time at 8 charges drops 2 to 4 Sweet King Wilds. Delicious at 16 charges repeats the wild drop and adds a blast that destroys symbols 2 positions diagonally and 3 positions cardinally from each winning wild. Candy Craze at 30 charges adds wilds and upgrades a low-pay jelly into a high-pay hard candy. Reaching 48 charges triggers the Flavour Frenzy Free Spin.
Sweet Tiles add another layer. Golden tiles appear randomly in base play; landing a cluster on one awards 2 to 4 Sweet King Wilds once cascading stops. During the bonus, the grid carries 12 purple and 6 golden tiles. Clearing all purple tiles summons the 2x2 Flavour Unicorn Wild. Winning on 4, 5, or 6 golden tiles attaches an x2, x3, or x4 multiplier to it.
The Flavour Frenzy Free Spin itself is a single spin loaded with 3 guaranteed Sweet-o-Meter features. Overcharging past 48 adds one extra feature per 4 additional winning symbols, up to 7 total. Features fire randomly after each cascade sequence that fails to produce a new win, and the round ends only when all stored features are exhausted. From a math perspective, reaching 48 charges in base play can drag noticeably; the build-up demands patience that not every session rewards.

RTP, Volatility, and Max Win
Five RTP configurations exist: 96.21%, 94.20%, 91.20%, 87.20%, and 84.20%. The gap between the top and bottom setting is nearly 12 percentage points, which is a significant EV difference over any meaningful sample. Always verify which version your operator runs. Medium volatility paired with a 26.88% base hit frequency means roughly one in four spins returns something, though many of those hits will be minimum clusters worth fractions of the stake.
Max win caps at 5,000x. I would expect most of that ceiling to come from a fully overcharged Flavour Frenzy Free Spin with the Flavour Unicorn Wild carrying a stacked multiplier alongside high-value Multiplier Wilds. For a medium-volatility game, 5,000x is a reasonable ceiling; do not walk in expecting the 20,000x or 30,000x ceilings found in high-volatility alternatives.
